We, the Bangladeshi people, are the inhabitants of a poor country. From the very beginning of our independence we are getting more and more foreign donation from various donor agencies almost from all of the developed countries.
At the beginning, the donors had to provide this donation via Government of Bangladesh and in those most issues the local government councils like Union Parishad, Upazila Parishad was involved to facilitate those funds and reliefs.
Now the trend has been changed because of some other reasons (you can read this issue in another one of my articles, 'as they know english, they are not thief') and donors are not providing any more funds via local government institutes like before. Now they are providing more emphasis on the donation via NGOs of Bangladesh thinking that the procedure would be more transparent than the local government organizations. The NGOs are also showing their credibility in managing those issues.
The NGOs are bringing funds from the donors showing our poverty, disaster victims, law literacy level, street children etc. They are throwing nice and nice proposals to the potential donors containing wonderful dreams of poverty eradication, respectful life for the street children etc. Donors are also catching those proposals to fund the project.

Hence, after 45 years of our independence, the question is, 'Why we are still poor or our people are below poverty level?'. 'Is it real poverty or fake poverty designed by the NGO leaders?' 'Is these issues are being used to attract donor?'
I want to conclude my article by saying that, 'Poverty may be a curse for the poor and unfortunate people like us but this is really a blessing for the greedy NGO leaders (except a few) of Bangladesh'.
