She lost her job because of her maternity

NGOs of Bangladesh scream for gender equity, women empowerment, dignity, human rights. I want clearly say it bogus, nothing but a trick for attract foreign donations. Is there anybody to challenge me? I have minimum five proof of gender violence where the female staffs had to go silently leaving the job.

Here one story for your kind knowledge about the real picture. Mridula Deb, she used to work as a health worker (clinic aid) of family health care project of Sylhet Shamaj Kallyan Shangstha (SSKS) supported by NSDP-USAID. She was pregnant, but she did not leave the job because of her poverty as she used to support her family by her earnings. One day while working in the field, she felt acute pain and she directly went to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital taking a CNG auto-rickshaw as she was alone in the field, she took such decision. This was a premature delivery, so she could not take leave from her job. She informed her authority over phone about her delivery and she also explained the situation of the day. After ten days of delivery, Mridula Deb came to her office to join the job, but her project director terminated her. She went to the Executive Director (Mr. Belal Ahmed) refused to give her any appointment and he also kept the termination order effective.

Dear readers, in all of my articles I am repeatedly writing, there is exception. The number of exception may not exceed 2%. If anybody challenge me or protest me or have any comments on this article please email me at exp2opi@gmail.com or kharappararchele@gmail.com I have specific data of five more cases with name and NGO name. I can show an NGO of Bangladesh where maternity leave exists in the service rule but there is no history of maternity leave in the last 15 years. Please there is expenditure for data collection. So, if you want to challenge me, please deposit tk. 20,000/- at my account. If you want to read more please have look on International Labor Law’ an open irony to theNGO workers of Bangladesh.
