The financial policy changes according to the benefits of the private NGOs.

AITAM Welfare organization is a renowned training organization, which is enlisted training organization of UNICEF, USAID, SCUSA in Bangladesh. Mr. X, used to work as a program coordinator from 16^th January 2006 to 15^th January 2014. During this long service period, no other benefits except salary & yearly festival bonus was availed by him. No gratuity, no earned leave, no leave encashment and this story is about the provident fund.

Like other national NGOs, AITAM also has financial policy, gender policy (draft for last 8 years), leave policy etc. But those are only for show pieces. The financial policy changed three times during the service period of Mr. X. Mr. X joined at AITAM knowing that he will get provident fund after successful completion of three years of his service. When he was about to complete three years at AITAM, the financial rule of AITAM changed and the time limit of getting provident fund increased and it reached at five years. Before completion of five years of Mr. X, the financial policy of AITAM Welfare Organization was suddenly withheld because of an unavoidable reason. Lastly the said person resigned without getting any benefits from AITAM Welfare Organization after completion of 8 Years service life.

The readers may think that it was only happened with Mr. X and the other staffs of the other NGOs are having nice time with there job. I want to tell this kind of readers that this is the common picture of the national (private) NGOs of Bangladesh. The story of Mr. X is published as because he has the braveness to tell the story of discrimination happened with him. But the other oppressed has the risk to lose their job. After the entire above story, these NGOs of Bangladesh are upholding the mankind as well as they have become the sole agent of human rights in Bangladesh.
